JVC HD Everio GZ-V505 adalah sebuah alat perekam video portabel yang mendukung format full HD (1080p) dengan menggunakan kartu memori SD/SDHC/SDXC sebagai media penyimpanannya (dijual terpisah). Dilengkapi lensa JVC HD dengan pembesaran objek bidik secara optikal sampai dengan 10x, camcorder ini sanggup menghasilkan gambar foto dan video lebih jernih, tajam serta stabil dengan dibantu fitur Optical + Advanced Image Stabilizer. Untuk melihat objek bidik saat merekam dan melihat hasil rekamannya JVC menyediakan layar LCD sentuh sebesar 3 inci dan fitur Intelligent AUTO yang memudahkan penggunaan dengan pengaturan yang optimal secara otomatis. Fitur Super LoLux (F1.2 Super Bright Lens) dan Auto Illumination Light memungkinkan perekam video ini dioperasikan di tempat yang kurang pencahayaan sekalipun. Disediakan port HDMI untuk menampilkan hasil rekaman video menggunakan media layar monitor LCD HD atau HDTV. Kelebihan lain yang dimiliki perekam video JVC ini adalah memiliki fungsi gambar foto digital (Still Photo) sampai dengan resolusi 10.0 mega pixels.
